			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is an experiment to see how WordPress is going to work as a way of maintaining a church web site.</p>
<p>WordPress started primarily as a blogging system, and is used as such by many centralised blogging sites, as well as individually hosted blogs. As the develpoment of  WordPress progressed more features were added, both to the central code and through 3rd party plugins that now make it a useful Content Management System (CMS) in it&#8217;s own right.</p>
